| dc.description.abstract | Der Essay erkundet exemplarisch Spuren, Quellen und Lektüren, die Arendts Rezeption von Nietzsche kennzeichnen. Ihre frühe Nietzsche-Lektüre und die Interpretationen von Jaspers und Heidegger sind dabei wesentlich. Arendts Aneignung von Nietzsches Philosophieren im Horizont ihrer republikanischen politischen Theorie ist innovativ, aber trotz Distanz zu ihm auch problematisch. Es wird gezeigt, dass Nietzsche für eine Reihe von Themen (produktive Machtauffassung, agonale Politikkonzeption, Kritik der Mitleidstradition, Traditionsbruch) zentral war. Insgesamt stellt sich Nietzsche als sehr wichtige Anregungsquelle für Arendts Denken und ihren Denkstil heraus. | ger |
